Worldwide renown consultants, heads of financial intelligent units, representatives of leading blockchain platform and monitoring solution, leaders and experts of bigger banks and several institutions of Estonia are among the speakers.
“The conference gives us a unique opportunity to gather and share our experiences in the field. This is extremely valuable to make the system of preventing money laundering and terrorism financing more effective,” said Matis Mäeker, the head of the Estonian Financial Intelligence Unit.
In the words of Mäeker, the MONEYVAL report, published in January 2023, gave us relevant feedback on how to improve the cooperation between Estonian public offices, as well as with the private sector. “That is why we have invited the people, who elaborate on the system as awhole,” said Matis Mäeker.
